Certification for the production of polystyrene clothes hangers manufactured using polymers derived from separately collected waste.

In November 2025 La.m.plastic received from the Institute for the Promotion of Recycled Plastics (IPPR) the Plastica Seconda Vita certification which certifies compliance with industry standards, highlights the recycled content and enables material traceability.

This certification carries a dual message:

on the one hand it fully expresses the concept of the Circular Economy, meaning material that regenerates itself with the minimization of waste (therefore no landfill, with the environmental disasters often associated with it) and savings of raw materials;

on the other hand there are other environmental aspects linked to recycling to be considered, such as the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and the energy efficiency associated with recycling.
